GOALS

There were two main goals of this project: to give Black Poodle Studio more clarity on how to attract their target audience and create a user-friendly, clean website to facilitate inquiries. The client reported feeling “stuck in neutral” when it came to marketing herself and her business. She also felt frustrated when she had to filter through contact inquires and educate clients about her pricing and process.

Brand Strategy

Regarding the brand strategy, we worked closely to uncover the passion behind Black Poodle Studio’s dog photography. We discovered that she has a passion for dog photography through her late father, a commercial photographer, and her late muse, Mesa.

All of the messaging of the brand focuses on highlighting personal connections and lasting memories with your best friends who have four paws and fur! We created the brand strategy as a roadmap on how to grow BPS’ reach and where to get eyes on her brand.

Website Strategy

The main goal of creating Black Poodle Studio’s website was to create a hub that was minimal and clean and let the photography do the talking. We also created a contact form, pricing guide, and FAQ to filter out unsuitable clients and lessen the confusion for those inquiring about dog photography.

 Overall, we collaborated on a beautiful, easy-to-use website that BPS can now use for her business and beyond!
